Tumbling

Tumbling Programs
These programs are designed for kids to learn skills in a safe and progressive manner utilizing the floor, tumble trak, and trampoline. Tumbling is a great way to develop coordination and confidence. Kids love to run and jump and we offer the proper training to safely do so. Student/Teacher ratio 8:1
Levels are as follows:

 

Mini Tumble (student/teacher ratio 6:1 ages 3-5)
Body positions will be highly emphasized. Different variations of forward/backward rolls, bridge kick overs, headstands, handstands, cartwheels, and round-offs. Strength and conditioning

Beginner Tumbling- (ages 6 and up)
Body positions will be highly emphasized. Different variations of forward/backward rolls, bridge kick overs, headstands, handstands, cartwheels, and round-offs. Strength and conditioning


Tumble 1: (ages 6 and up pre requisites– beginner tumble)
Body positions will be highly emphasized. More strength skills will be necessary to work on more advanced skills. More control and form will be taught at this level of tumbling in order to work on such skills, but not limited to, backbend/kick overs, handstand forward rolls, back extension rolls, handstand bridges, one-handed cartwheels, front and back walkovers, back handspring progressions, and back handspring.


Tumble 2: (pre requisites– strong back walkover, round off, handstand)
Body positions will be highly emphasized. More strength skills will be necessary to work on more advanced skills. Tumble 1 skills plus the following skills, back handsprings, front handsprings, dive rolls, dive cartwheels, aerials, and round off back handsprings.


Tumble 3 (pre requisites-standing back handspring, round off back handspring)
Body positions will be highly emphasized. More strength skills will be necessary to work on more advanced skills. Tumble 2 skills plus the following skills will be worked on, round off multiple back handsprings, front handspring combinations, back tucks, front tucks/pikes/layouts, round off back handspring back tuck/pike/layout, and branies.


Cheer Tumble
A great class to learn skills required for Cheerleading! Emphases is on Tumbling and Jumps through proper progression and conditioning to build the strength and flexibility needed to perform skills safely.
We offer two different age groups: JR (Ages 6-11) and SR (Ages 12-HS).

Back Handspring Boot Camp (pre requisites-strong back walkover & strong handstand)

An Intense, fast moving class focused soley on back handsprings. This class will teach the skills, technique, and strength needed to get the back handspring that you have always wanted. Come ready to work hard!!!
