Gymnastics Teams
Star Flipr’s Silver and Gold (Instructor Invite Only)
These two classes are offered to girls who are physically and mentally preparing for Gymnastics Team. USA Gymnastics levels 1- 4 skills are taught on the Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Emphasis is on FUN, form, technique, skill, and strength development in order to become a Team member!
GIJO (Greater Illinois Junior Olympics– Instructor invite Only)
GIJO is a competitive program for gymnasts who want to compete, but do not want the time, financial, and travel commitment required by traditional USAG teams. Gymnasts age 7 and older, compete in one of four levels, 4, 5, 6, and optional. The compulsory routines are based on the routines outlined by USAG. The competitions follow high school rules and provide a fun and friendly environment. Spotting is allowed in GIJO competitions as well. We will also utilize this program as a stepping stone from Pre-Team to USAG Level 4 Gymnastics Team. Competitions will run from January through the state meet in May/June.
