I started I&M Gymnastics because of my passion for the sport. I believe that gymnastics is not only fun, but it teaches our kids fundamental values that will carry on with them for the rest of their lives. Gymnastics is a great foundation for a healthy lifestyle no matter what sport your child decides to pursue in the future. This is exactly what I&M stands for, Impacting and Motivating children through gymnastics , fitness and sport training.
My focus is teaching gymnastics , tumbling, and cheer in a FUN, NON-COMPETITIVE way, while developing strength, motor coordination, flexibility, balance, goal setting and self confidence to name a few. At I&M Gymnastics we have a fun and friendly staff and environment. We take pride in our gym and our work...to teach gymnastics and keep our students smiling!
I opened I&M Gymnastics in September of 2006 with approximately 80 students and have been growing ever since. We currently have over 300 students attending classes each week at the gym. Our programs have also expanded. Not only do we offer gymnastics for all ages, Recreational and Competitive, but we also offer Boys/Girls Competitive Gymnastics Team, GIJO Gymnastics Team, Elite Stars Tumbling Team, and
Karate . Because our programs have expanded so did our name...I&M Gymnastics and Sport Training.

Julie is the head coach and director for the gymnastics teams at I&M. She was a competitve gymnast for 11 years and has coached on and off for 18 years. Her and her gym's philosophy is to introduce and develop sports in a manner that encourages each athlete to reach his/her full potential in a safe, healthy, and positive environment. Julie and her husband Nick have been married for 13 years and have three wonderful and talented children. In her spare time she loves watching her daughters compete in gymnastics and tumbling and her son in hockey and soccer. She also is a big fan of the Blackhawks!
